Privacy policy

Last updated October 9, 2026

Quietly (readquietly.app and its Chrome extension) is made by Natalie Copuroglu and run by Endless Thrill. It exists to keep the things you want to read, and that is all your data is used for. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking, and nothing is ever sold. Questions: hello@natalie.works.

What is stored

The Chrome extension

The extension only does something when you ask it to: when you click its button, press its keyboard shortcut or choose Save from the right-click menu. Then it sends that page's address and content (or the link you right-clicked) to your Quietly account, using your sign-in on readquietly.app. It does not read or record other pages, does not track your browsing, and does not run in the background. The only thing it keeps in Chrome is an optional custom server address and token, if you set one in its options.

How it is used

Only to run the service for you: showing and syncing your library across your devices, sending the highlight emails you turn on, and account emails like password resets. For links saved without their content, the server downloads the article from its website so you can read it.

Who else handles it

These services run parts of Quietly and only process data to do that:

Cookies and your device

One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies. So you can read offline, a copy of your library is kept in your browser's storage on each device you use; signing out removes it.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data is kept for as long as you have an account. You can download all of it at any time from Settings → Export. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@natalie.works from your account's address and it will be done within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Significant changes will also be emailed to you.
